Front Desk/Host  (Hourly)

The front desk and host position at Dave & Buster's ensures Guests' initial impressions are positive and welcoming. The front desk/host positions require a strong communicator who will guide Guests through their retail, game rental and dining experiences.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Acting as an ambassador to the building, greeting Guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones. Smile and greet Guests upon entering.
  • Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action.
  • Bid farewell to Guests leaving. Ensures everything was satisfactory and invites Guests to return.
  • Prepare for the shift by ensuring the area is stocked with supplies: menus, silverware, Power cards, gift cards etc.
  • Review the cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk and Host station.
  • Ensure all menus are stocked and properly cleaned and maintained.

  • Deliver silverware as Guests are seated.
  • Make timely and accurate calculations of bill transactions.

Must be 18 years old to work as Front Desk/Host at Dave & Buster's. Restaurant, retail, or cashier experience preferred, but not required.

Line Cook  (Hourly)

Line Cooks at Dave & Buster's are responsible for creating an exceptional culinary experience for Guests through the preparation and presentation of the menu. The line cook is also responsible for the correct handling and preparation of all food items to ensure Guests' safety at all times.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Adhering to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Safely and correctly operate all equipment.
  • Using all chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control.
  • Ensuring that all products are stored properly in the correct location at the appropriate levels at all times.
  • Preparing and selling food that meets all food quality indicators and prepared to Guest expectations.
  • Selling food within recommended time frames to meet Guest expectations.
  • Preparing and cooking all food items by recipe and to specification.
  • Controlling costs by following prep sheets as designed to ensure the freshest product is served and eliminate waste.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas.
  • Responsible for station maintenance, cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Cleaning and maintenance of all kitchen mats, floors, walls and drains.
  • Emptying kitchen trash and cleaning and maintaining trash cans.

To work as a Line Cook at Dave & Buster's you must be at least 18 years old. Previous kitchen experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred, but not required.

Dishwasher (Hourly)

Dishwashers at Dave & Buster's are vital to the overall cleanliness of the building and safety of the Guests and staff. The Dishwasher staff is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and properly storing all dishes, flatware, utensils and kitchenware.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Using all chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control.
  • Safely and correctly operating all equipment.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware and glassware.
  • Carefully sorting all dishware and flatware to ensure none are lost or disposed of.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen pots, pans and utensils.
  • Carefully handling all glassware and dishware to eliminate breakage.
  • Emptying all trash in the kitchen and cleaning and maintaining trash cans.
  • Assisting the other kitchen staff members with pressure point relief during the shift as needed.
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls, drains, and mats.

You must be at least 18 years old to work as a Dishwasher at Dave & Buster's.

Service Support (Hourly)

Service Support Staff at Dave & Buster's -- AKA Bussers -- Assist Bartender, Cocktail Staff, and Wait Staff by maintaining area cleanliness and providing necessary support to ensure fast, friendly and accommodating service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:

  • Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for bus stand cleanliness and stocking.
  • Ensure wait stations remain clean.
  • Empty trash and spot sweep whenever the floor needs it, or when a Manager requests.
  • Perform opening/closing responsibilities, including party breakdown/duties.
  • Restock and prepare supplies for shift change and or close.
  • Ensure food is properly garnished prior to running out to Guests.
  • Follow all tray procedures to minimize loss and ensure food is delivered timely or correctly.
  • Buss and reset tables.
  • Deliver food to tables and ensure the Guests have everything they need.
  • Offer assistance to Guests by clearing away dishes and glassware, and refilling beverages.
  • Assist in party setup.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, including restocking of supplies.
  • Clean high chairs and booster chairs.
  • Assist other Team members as needed or when business needs dictate.
  • Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights and/or weekends as required.

Support Technician  (Hourly)

Dave & Buster's Gaming Support Techs or Midway Techs are responsible for the repair and maintenance of the building -- including games, simulators, and technical equipment. They also assist Guests and maintain ideal player conditions in the midway at all times.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action.
  • Provide timely and accurate service while managing wait times and communicating information as needed to Guests, Team Members, and Managers.
  • Greet Guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while performing multiple job functions. Smile and greet Guests upon entering Midway.
  • Assist Guests by repairing and maintaining amusements equipment in a timely manner.
  • Load and refill tickets in redemption games paying special attention to securing all ticket storage areas.
  • Assist the Guest with all requests, answer questions as needed, and make recommendations.
  • Bid farewell to Guests leaving. Ensure everything was satisfactory and invite Guests to return.
  • Notify the Manager of any Guest that is perceived to be unhappy.
  • Stocking, displaying, and securing merchandise in all storage areas.
  • Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shift, if applicable.
  • Check for restocking of necessary supplies. Bring all areas up to standard. Discuss problem areas with Manager.
  • Review the cleanliness and organization of the Midway games. Ensure all games are clean and unobstructed.
  • Properly position and set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.
  • Assist in daily maintenance and organization of tech room and storage areas.
  • Efficiently and safely perform daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly game maintenance as directed by management.
  • Assist with general store maintenance as directed by management.

You must be at least 18 years old to work as a Support Technician at Dave & Buster's.

Server (Hourly)

Servers at Dave & Buster's make sure Guests have an unparalleled experience by providing fast, friendly service and being attentive to their needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create a warm, fun atmosphere for Guests and Team Members.
  • Adhere to company sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain responsibility for your personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate by operating credit card machines correctly, calculating and returning appropriate change and maintaining adequate cash and coin for making change.
  • Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated Guests.
  • Assess Guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a Manager.
  • Greet newly seated Guests’ in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Accurately take Guests’ food and drink orders.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation.
  • Enter orders into Micros quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate modifications and charges.
  • Ensure food is properly garnished and delivers trays to designated table server’s own section, as well as other sections in the restaurant, as needed.
  • Work quickly and efficiently adhering to “Full hands in, Full hands out” philosophy.
  • Assist in party set up and breakdown. Buss and reset tables as needed.
  • Responsible for all sales on personal Micros keys and completing station side work at the beginning and end of shift.
  • Participate in all incentives and contests, driving sales and promoting the brand.
  • Follow portion guidelines to ensure cost control, while maximizing the Guest
  • experience.
  • Ensure ongoing Guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, pre‐bussing as necessary, and responding to Guest needs in a timely manner.
  • Keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately.
  • Operate Micros, make changes, accurately conduct credit card transactions, and account of all monies at the end of each shift.
  • Listen to Guests’ orders and needs, and then communicate with Guests verbally and with other Team Members verbally via Micros system.

You must be at least 18 years old to work as a server at Dave & Buster's. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.

Customer Service/Winner's Circle  (Hourly)

The Winner’s Circle position at Dave & Buster's ensures Guests' initial impressions are positive and welcoming. The Winner’s Circle position requires a strong communicator who will guide Guests through their Midway experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action.
  • Provide timely and accurate service while managing wait times and communicating information as needed to Guests, Team Members, and Managers.
  • Greet Guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while performing multiple job functions. Smiles and greets Guests upon entering.
  • Assist the Guest with all requests and answer questions as needed and make recommendations on items.
  • Provide game assistance by promptly notifying Support Technicians or Management as needed.
  • Bid farewell to Guests leaving. Ensures everything was satisfactory and invite Guests to return.
  • Notify the Manager of any Guest that is perceived to be unhappy.
  • Practice proper cost controls by accurately weighing tickets and scanning merchandise.
  • Stocking, displaying and securing merchandise in all storage areas.
  • Reconciliation of tickets and merchandise inventory.
  • Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shift, if applicable.
  • Check for restocking of necessary supplies. Brings all areas up to standard. Discusses problem areas with Manager.
  • Review the cleanliness and organization of the Winner’s Circle. Ensure all plush and shelves are stocked, properly cleaned, and maintained.
  • Properly position and set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.

You must be at least 18 years old to work in the Winner's Circle at Dave & Buster's.

Drink Runner  (Hourly)

Drink Runners at Dave & Buster's assist Bartenders, Wait Staff and Guests by providing outstanding beverage service. They run drinks to tables, games, and guests throughout D&B. They also keep the service area clean and provide necessary support to ensure fast, friendly, and accommodating service.

YOU WILL BE GREAT IN THIS POSITION IF:

  • You can deliver drinks quickly for guests to enjoy.
  • You are friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
  • You can educate guests by presenting and explaining the drinks you are serving
  • You can differentiate between a good and a bad drink (Beer that has lost its foam, drinks that have sat too long).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
  • Adhering to state liquor laws and Alcohol Awareness guidelines.
  • Performing opening/closing responsibilities, including party breakdown/duties.
  • Restocking and preparing supplies for shift change and or close.
  • Ensuring drinks are properly garnished prior to running out to guests.

Receiver (Hourly)

The receiving clerk position at Dave & Buster's is responsible for the proper receiving of all food, liquor, and non-consumables. The receiver position is responsible for maintaining area cleanliness and providing necessary support to ensure fast, friendly, and accommodating service while upholding food safety standards at all times. 

The receiver must have the ability to communicate with delivery companies, drivers, and be able to perform light administrative duties.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action.
  • Properly store and secure all products received
  • Inspect all products upon delivery for quality, temperature, and condition
  • Vegetable wash all produce upon receipt.
  • Perform proper rotation of all food and beverage products upon receipt-first in/first out mentality.
  • Properly handle and store all chemicals received.
  • Pull thaw of frozen food products on delivery days.
  • Break down boxes and dispose of them properly.
  • Clean and maintain storage and delivery areas.
  • Maintain a receiving log by competently tracking all deliveries and missing items.

You must be at least 18 years old to work as a Receiver at Dave & Buster's.

Special Events Assistant (Hourly)

A Special Events Assistant at Dave & Buster's provides pressure point relief in the Special Events office so the Sales Teams can focus on introducing Dave & Buster’s to new guests every day. 

The SEA provides administrative support to the Special Events Manager (SEM) and Special Events Consultant (SEC) and ensures each Guest knows their business is important to Dave & Buster’s. 

During high‐volume periods, this position may also provide some sales and marketing support, under the direction of the GM, SEM, and/or SEC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide critical administrative support to the SE office, including faxing, filing, making copies, mailings, and other general administrative work.
  • Receive and finalize contracts within the sales system and assist with collection of event deposits and payments.
  • Assist in maintaining event archives.
  • Take incoming Guest calls as a backup when the SEM and/or SEC are busy, taking down important information and referring the Guest’s needs to the SEM or SEC.
  • Generate PowerCards, drink tickets, and the other items needed to make events one‐of‐a‐kind.
  • LShow Guests around Dave & Buster’s and introduce them to all of the ways the restaurant can make their event one to remember!
